Teaching is a highly specialized profession. Through their intelligence, patience and wisdom, teachers attempt not only to hone the learner’s intellect and aptitude but also, create a well-rounded personality. Having vast areas of specializations, different skills and type of training are required for different levels of teacher training. To meet these high standards of teacher training AMOGHA offers learning through hand-on experience of teaching at school which promotes the development of independent learning and make you accountable for your own learning, planning and time management. Apart from formal lectures, you will be working in a guided or independent environment on assignments, projects and presentations. This will enhance your ability to organize your time in a way that you optimally synergize your academic and co-curricular pursuits. Field studies, data gathering, laboratory activity, case studies, work-based assignments, seminars, presentations, group discussions- all form part of a student’s independent learning process.

A combination of teacher- supervised and teacher independent learning activities at individual and group levels are integrated into the learning system such that students are optimally involved in assessment of their own progress through faculty and peer feedback. Learning efforts are amalgamated with experimental learning techniques and supported by audio-visual aids. Fully equipped classrooms help the students to acquire and absorb knowledge and gain confidence.

Mindroom Sessions :
The mindroom sessions give students a solid grounding for future focus curriculum. They consist mainly of lectures, quiz exercises, and workshops to help students recapitulate and reinforce the knowledge acquired in classroom sessions in developing the personal and professional attributes to the fullest possible extent.
Independent Learning :
Assessment at Amogha is deemed as an ongoing two-way process which involves active collaboration between the assessor and the learner so as to maximize the performance potential of both. Utilizing the global experience in higher education, the tools employed in assessment procedures have been carefully designed to provide assignment activity forms the cornerstone of student led learning. From conceiving, planning and researching an activity to implementing and reflecting on actual experiences-students employ a vast range of creative tools which serve to expand their range of communicative and managerial skills.
Value addded Learning
At AMOGHA soft skills supplement technical skills to take care of the overall holistic development of the students. This program addresses aspects of human personality like confidence building, assertiveness training, decision-making, survival skills through Scout training and guide camp and games and sports and extra curricular activities. The two skills together transform you into a well-rounded individual ready for the corporate world.
For those students who need improvement on their communication skills AMOGHA offers training in English competency. This helps students speak and write good English, which enables them to meet the international language requirements.
